VidiVet - find out how the app works!

Hands in the air if you have ever done an internet search for anything to do with your pet?

Or maybe you have asked on a forum on a social media platform?

Maybe you’ve asked your mate who owns a grooming salon or a dog walker?

Or your best friend's cousin's son's wife who just happens to be a vet or a vet nurse?

In fact, over 85% of you do one of these things before you contact your vets, and there is no great surprise, us vets are expensive. It can be stressful to come and visit us, for you and your pet, it can be hard to find an appointment to suit your availability… the list goes on.

When we set out on  the journey to build something that would help pet people we wanted to address all of your concerns, and when we spoke to a lot of you those concerns were all the same, to some extent. So, we built VidiVet

VidiVet is the first app that enables you to ask anything about your pet, at any time, and get a video answer from a real vet in less time than it takes to make a cup of tea.

Our answers are specific to you, your pet and your circumstances, meaning you can have total peace of mind!

And you can ask us literally anything you like.

From Daschunds with diarrhoea to Lurchers with lumps, from limping Labradors to coughing Cocker Spaniels, from flatulent Frenchies to vomiting Vizslas....any breed, any question, any time.

In fact, your pet doesn’t even need to be sick for you to ask anything. You can ask about a flea and worming strategy, weight checks, diet ideas, exercise plans, how to help your pet’s anxieties, tips and tricks for training...the list is as long as you like! Nothing is off-piste for VidiVet.

You get answers to questions in next to no time and it gives you total peace of mind. It won’t always stop you from having to go to the vet, but a lot of the time, we can give you hints and tips so you can manage and support your pet at home. Less than 10% of questions asked need a trip to the vets after speaking to VidiVet!

But guess what, if you do have to go in, we don’t just say off you go, we tell you if you should take any samples, what tests the vet may likely recommend and give you an idea of the costs you may face too, meaning you go in much more informed and prepared.
