Disabled Accessaccordion arrow

DogFest is committed to making everyone’s experience an enjoyable. Please do consider that the festival is an outdoor event with grass fields and grounds with gradients/uneven surfaces, whilst we have made a great effort to provide facilities to accommodate for this there will inevitably be some areas that are hard to navigate. There will be an area for disabled parking as close to the entrance to the event site as possible. Disabled parking is free at DogFest South and West, however there is a £3.50 charge at North. Please see the parking FAQ for more information.

Is camping available?accordion arrow

There is no camping at any of our locations this year. We are currently working with our venues to provide you with some local camping options for each location.

Are there any shaded areas in case of extreme weather?accordion arrow

Yes, there are tented areas for dogs and their owners to rest and take cover in case of extreme hot or wet weather.

Visitors should make extra provisions for any weather eventuality as although we’d love to have sunshine we cannot guarantee this due to the great British weather! DogFest advises bringing provisions from wellies to sun cream, blankets to waterproofs for sun, rain, wind and cold weather.

Can dogs come to DogFest?accordion arrow

YES! DogFest is a celebration of the unique relationship between owner/s and their dog so we warmly welcome dogs to come along and have a great day out with their family. Please familiarise yourself with our Animal Welfare Guidelines, and ensure your dog stays on their lead unless they’re participating in one of the have-a-go activities. But if you don’t have a dog, you’re also warmly invited to take part in any of the activities. Please note this is a dog’s day out and cats or other animals are not permitted.

Can I attend DogFest without my dog?accordion arrow

Yes! Of course you can still attend if you are unable to bring your own dog! Dogfest both a fantastic day for doglovers as well as dogs, and there will be plenty for you to do, including shopping opportunities, watching amazing displays, and attending informative talks which will help you with caring for your own pet.

Animal Welfareaccordion arrow

Please consider the temperament of your dog before you decide to attend. The show is very busy with thousands of other dogs and people, and knowing your own dog(s), you should consider if this is an environment which they will enjoy.
