Our Official Charity Partner
Dogs Trust (formerly the NCDL) is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 14,000 dogs each year through a network of 20 rehoming centres in the UK.
Our mission is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.
We are really excited to partner with DogFest, as it gives us a fantastic opportunity to interact with everyone, as we have really missed all our supporters and their four-legged friends over the last year.
Our Dogs Trust Village will contain lots of information about the dogs currently in our care, as well as details about how to rehome one. We will also have our rehoming garden at the three events, where we will be inviting former canine residents to join us for a parade and the chance to hear lots of happy stories about their forever homes.
We will also be promoting all the other ways for people to get involved with Dogs Trust. For example, by fostering as part of our Home from Home scheme, volunteering at a rehoming centre, charity shop or events or getting involved with fundraising.
As well, the Dogs Trust Village is a great place to learn about all our Campaigns; how we are lobbying to stop puppy smuggling, our Outreach programmes, the Hope Project which helps those who are homeless with their dogs and the Freedom Project, which helps families fleeing domestic violence.
Of course, we will also be selling our popular Dogs Trust branded merchandise.
Our friendly team cannot wait to catch up with our all friends and supporters – both old and new and two and four-legged!
