How much is parking?

For all DogFest locations except Tatton Park, Cheshire there is a £5 vehicle entry fee, and disabled parking is available for £2.50.

At DogFest Cheshire, there is a £8.00 vehicle entry charge - this charge is levied and maintained by Tatton Park. Disabled visitors will need to pay a £4 vehicle entry charge.

The Tatton Park Vehicle entry charge applies to all visitors, including National Trust Members. For more information and to book your parking in advance view their website.

Do you have more information for disabled visitors?

DogFest is committed to making everyone’s experience enjoyable. Please do consider that the festival is an outdoor event with grass fields and grounds with gradients/uneven surfaces. Whilst we have made a great effort to provide facilities to accommodate for this there will inevitably be some areas that are hard to navigate. There will be an area for disabled parking as close to the entrance to the event site as possible. There will be a fee for disabled parking. Please see the parking FAQ for more information. DogFest will not have mobility scooters to hire on the day.

Are there any shaded areas in case of extreme weather?

Yes, there are tented areas for dogs and their owners to rest and take cover in case of extreme hot or wet weather.

Visitors should make extra provisions for any weather eventuality as although we’d love to have sunshine we cannot guarantee this due to the great British weather! DogFest advises bringing provisions from wellies to sun cream, blankets to waterproofs for sun, rain, wind and cold weather.

What animal welfare guidelines do you have in place?

Please consider the temperament of your dog before you decide to attend. The show is very busy with thousands of other dogs and people, and knowing your own dog(s), you should consider if this is an environment which they will enjoy. Please keep your dog(s) on a lead at all times when you are at the show. For our full animal welfare guidelines, click here

Can dogs come to DogFest?

YES! DogFest is a celebration of the unique relationship between owner/s and their dog so we encourage dogs to come along and have a great day out with their family. Please familiarise yourself with our Animal Welfare Guidelines, and ensure your dog stays on their lead at all times. Please note this is a dog’s day out and cats or other animals are not permitted.

Can I attend DogFest without my dog?

Yes, you can still attend if you are unable to bring your own dog! DogFest is both a fantastic day for dog lovers as well as dogs and there will be plenty for you to do, including shopping opportunities and watching amazing displays.

Can I bring something to eat and drink?

Yes, you can bring your own food and drink to the venue. There will also be a number of catering options at DogFest; from teas and coffees, to a light lunch, cakes and ice-cream.
