The Great Dog Walk
There is no word dogs love to hear more than “WALKIES”!
The Great Dog Walk, sponsored by Keeping Britain's Pets Healthy, gives you the chance to join thousands of others on a 2km or 4km walk and explore the beautiful grounds of Tatton Park with your furry friend.
Keeping Britain’s Pets Healthy, celebrates the fact that we’re a nation of pet lovers. They are your trusted pet-health advisor, guiding you on everything there is to know about pet healthcare, flea and tick control and disease prevention.
Twice a day, the Great Dog Walk will take place, at 11am and 3pm. See the schedule below for which sessions our special guests will lead.
The Humanimal Trust will be collecting donations at the start of Noel's dog walk. They drive collaboration between vets, doctors and researchers so that all humans and animals benefit from sustainable, medical progress but not at one another's expense. This is a concept known as One Medicine.
Manchester & Cheshire Dogs Home will be collecting at the start of Clare's dog walk. They take in and care for hundreds of stray and abandoned dogs each year. Every dog receives individual care and attention from our dedicated team before finding their forever homes.
|11am||Join Professor Noel Fitzpatrick at 11am on Saturday as he kick-starts the first walk of the day.|
